Oct 26th (Thu) - Monthly Homebrewer Meeting 7p-9p: Come join us at our monthly Homebrewer meeting. This is a great opportunity to meet other brewers and share samples, recipes, technique & processes. We'll have a friendly & diverse group to talk brewing while we have a semi-formal agenda each month. This is free & open to all levels of brewers. It's also a great intro for those who are looking to start brewing. Feel free to bring homebrew samples to share or if you don't have any homebrew, bring a commercial beer. We'll be focusing on Stouts at the October meeting & our agenda will pertain to that particular style. Hope to see you on the 26th. Cheers!
Oct 28th (Sat) - Crafting Hard Cider with John Macaulay 1p-2p: Homebrewing hard cider is fun and rewarding. The process can be as simple or involved as you want it to be. You probably already have the equipment so why not give it a try? All you need is a set of guidelines to help you craft the finished cider you want. Our guest speaker has been exploring cider-making for the past two years. Along with a collection of tips and techniques, he'll be offering a road map of the cider-making process so you can get to your desired destination. While this event is tailored for homebrewers who haven't yet dabbled in cider making, it can also be informative for those who would like to know what it takes to make hard cider. Samples will be available for those who attend (of course)...oh yeah, and it's free.
Nov 4th (Sat) - Learn to Homebrew Day at Locust Lane Craft Brewery (Malvern) 10a-3p: Come join us for Learn to Homebrew Day. A free event for all levels of brewers (& non brewers). Check out the brewer processes and even get involved with brewing a small batch of beer. We'll have a 10 gallon (all-grain) and 5 gallon (extract) batch brewing.
We sometimes have impromptu demos/brew sessions at the shop that are often announced the day before or that day. These sessions are usually posted on Facebook. Please like/follow us to stay updated on these events that sometimes include weekdays.
